Tehran hosts 8th meeting of the High-Level Working Group for Caspian Sea

The 8th meeting of the High-Level Working Group for Caspian Sea was held in Tehran on June 24 through June 26, 2024, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
The delegations of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan took part in the talks.
During the meeting, the parties continued to discuss the methodology of laying straight baselines in the Caspian Sea.
At the same time, an overview of cooperation in the Caspian Sea was held at the meeting. The delegations have expressed their gratitude to Iran for organizing the meeting at a high level. The next meeting of the High-Level Working Group for the Caspian Sea will be held in Kazakhstan, on dates to be agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
