Secretary of Security Council of Russia holds consultations in Baku

Baku. 29 September. REPORT.AZ/ Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev has held a meeting with Ramiz Mehdiyev, Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan in Baku.

Report informs referring to press service of the Security Council of Russia, the parties discussed fighting against extremism and terrorism.

“Regional security issues, improvement the legislative framework for fighting against religious extremism and terrorism, also topics on bilateral cooperation in the area of international information security were addressed at the meeting,” said the statement.

Summing up the result of consultations, Patrushev stressed that relations between Russia and Azerbaijan differ with advanced strategic partnership both in bilateral issues and multilateral agenda.
