Opening of the second edition of the 'Malaysia Education Fair’ was held in Baku, Report informs.

The event, which will be held on December 2-3, was organized by Winning Magnitude and Lingva Training Centre with the support of the Embassy of Malaysia, Baku.

The exhibition combines Malaysia’s leading universities, namely the University of Technology, Malaysia (UTM), Taylor's University, SEGi University, Management Science University (MSU), and Quest International University, to showcase Malaysia’s recognized, attractive, cost-effective higher education opportunities.

Malaysia has become an increasingly popular destination for international students due to its widely recognized high-quality education system, affordable tuition fees, affordable cost of living, and diverse cultural environment. With the tagline ‘Truly Asia’, Malaysia has long since cemented its reputation as one of the world’s top tourist destinations. It is one of the world’s top tourist destinations with many UNESCO World Heritage sites. Also, studying in Malaysia will allow students to visit neighboring countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.

In the QS Best Student Cities 2023, Kuala Lumpur was ranked first in the affordability indicator among Asian countries and third in the world. Kuala Lumpur has also ranked No. 1 for the Top Expat City in the Inter Nations Survey 2023. UNESCO's International Students Mobility Survey ranks Malaysia 11th among the most preferred destinations to study abroad. Annual tuition fees in Malaysia are between $3,500 and $5,500, while living expenses are around $350 to $500 per month.

In 2020, Malaysia hosted 131,300 international tertiary students from more than 175 countries around the globe, which is a testament to its robust education system, infrastructure, and world-class education. The government aspires to meet the target of 250,000 international students by 2025. All students enrolling in Malaysia will be entitled to a 20% entry scholarship and up to 50% merit scholarship.
