"If the Council of Europe had not turned a blind eye to the ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijanis in Karabakh, there would have been no further wars in Europe," Report's European Bureau informs that the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Samad Seyidov, said during the spring session of this organization.
According to him, some members of the Armenian delegation are trying to cast a shadow on the steps taken by Azerbaijan on the path to peace.
"A commission should be set up under the Council of Europe to help establish peace. Much has been said here about the war. It's time to return to the core values of the Council of Europe," Samad Seyidov said.
