Russian MFA comments on Armenia's provocation on border

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia commented on the provocation by Armenia on the border with Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The spokeswoman of the ministry, Maria Zakharova, said at her weekly briefing on April 12 that after the shooting at the border, Moscow took immediate measures to prevent the situation from escalating.
She said that what happened shows the importance of observing the tripartite agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia: "Immediately after the incident on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border yesterday, the representatives of the Border Service of the Russian Federal Security Service went to the area together with the officials of Azerbaijan and Armenia and took the necessary measures."
