Russian Deputy Foreign Minister: We know Azerbaijan as a reliable partner

"We are confident that Azerbaijan will worthily play its role as chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said speaking at the XVIII Non Alignment Summit in Baku, Report informs.

"We know Azerbaijan as a reliable partner which pursues a balanced policy," the deputy minister said.

He also stressed the special role of the Non-Aligned Movement in the settlement of conflicts, stressing the need to resolve the Palestine-Israel conflict.

"Its resolution is extremely important in improvement of the situation in the Middle East. Monopolization of the settlement process leads to nowhere."
