Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan spoke about priorities of his activity

Baku. 20 August. REPORT.AZ/ "One of my main tasks is to establish close contacts with the authorities and public of Azerbaijan, familiarization with the country”.

Report informs, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov said at a press conference. The ambassador noted that since the beginning of his activity in the country he has already visited Gabala and the regions of Azerbaijan bordering with Dagestan.

"The main thing is saturation with practical questions within the framework of those contacts that are carried out by the heads of our states. It is these contacts that set the tone in our cooperation. The number one task is to prepare contacts between them. We have a forum for interethnic cooperation in Ganja in early November. This will be a major meeting between the representatives of our countries with the participation of representatives of business, ministries and the leadership of the state”, - the diplomat said. Also, he said, the meeting of the intergovernmental commission, co-chaired by the heads of the ministries of economic development, should be held before the end of the year.

"These tasks are part of the first phase of my activities until the end of the year," Bocharnikov summed up.
