Baku. 8 September. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan is one of a few countries where Russia and the U.S. are actively working together to solve a regional conflict, he said.

Report informs citing the Lincoln County News, this is stated in the article of the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta.

The U.S. has worked with France and Russia to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict. Ambassadors “have the power to convene,” or bring the leaders of the two nations together, he said. Ultimately, however, it is up to the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to agree to a solution.

In his article, the Ambassador provides information on the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and also calls Azerbaijan an important partner in the fight against terrorism.

Azerbaijan is also the center of one of the largest capital projects in the oil and natural-gas industry – the approximately $40 billion Trans Adriatic Pipeline.
