Relationship between the EU and Azerbaijan discussed at the meeting of European Parliament's delegation

Baku. January 21. REPORT.AZ/ Meeting of the European Parliament delegation for the South Caucasus, on the relationship between the EU and Azerbaijan was held on January 20. Report was told in the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium.

Deputy chairman of the meeting of the British Parliament Sadzhdad Kerim expressed condolences to the people of Azerbaijan in connection with the tragedy of January 20.

Fuad Iskenderov, in turn, thanked Kerimov for condolences, noting that in the past 25 years from these bloody days the main goal of our country was to strengthen the independence of Azerbaijan.

Then the deputy, made a report on the development in recent years, cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan, achievements, gaps in the cooperation between the parties and so forth.

MP Asim Mollazade touched the conflicts in Azerbaijan and Eastern Partnership countries in general, refugee problems faced by countries in the region, and urged the European Union to be active in their decision.
