Illegal military presence in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan did not allow reintegration, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev said at a briefing, Report informs.

“Therefore, Azerbaijan had to start limited and localized counter-terrorism measures on the ground. Azerbaijan was very selective, vigilant, and quite extra-ordinary sensitive regarding civilian objects and civilians. In the run of these counter-terrorism actions on the ground, SMS messages have been delivered to all households, all mobile subscribers in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, warning the population to keep a safe distance from military objects and military installations.”
