Presidential aide: Armenia must end territorial claims against neighbors

Armenia must change its strategy. The liberation of the ancestral lands by Azerbaijan changed the situation in the South Caucasus, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, speaking at the panel session “South Caucasus: Regional Development and Prospective for Cooperation” within VIII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

He stressed that the occupation damaged Armenia’s independence.

The economic potential of Armenia depends on neighboring countries, he noted. If Yerevan stops territorial claims to neighboring countries, it will benefit Armenia, Hajiyev added.
