President of Israel: ‘It's an honoured pleasure to be in Azerbaijan’

“It's an honoured pleasure to be here. We come here with an open heart, with great friendship between our nations,” the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, said in the expanded meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Baku, Report informs.

“There are many fields which you outlined and so much more we have discussed. I think it makes a sense of message to our people on many levels. First, I believe that it has a sense of the message that Jews and Muslims can do great things together. If they move to peace together, open dialogue together, and they can do good to the world together. Secondly, it's a strategic relationship because we have an impact on the entire region towards the direction of peace, prosperity, and development. Thank you very much for that," the president said.
