President: Independent character of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is based on national interests

The independent character of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is based on national interests, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with participants of the international conference 'South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation,' Report informs.

“This demonstrates the independent character of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, which is based on our national interests and which is based on a maximum level of achievements. In our region we need to think about security and cooperation as an integral part of our today and our future. Because without security there will be no cooperation, there will be no economic benefits.
