Palestinian Vice-Speaker calls on international community in Baku

"We call on the nations to establish a Palestinian state. The problem of the Palestinian people should be solved on the basis of the principles of justice and respect for peoples' rights," deputy chairman of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) Ali Faisal said in his speech at the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.

According to him, Israel is trying to erase the history of Palestine: "We are trying to protect our identity in this conflict. All kinds of political support should be given to this resistance. Palestinian problem deserves all support. Our people are raising their voices to get rid of historical oppression. The world community must realize its responsibility. I urge you to show political and moral support."
