Initiatives such as the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) provide a link between West and East, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at the SPECA summit in Baku, according to Report.
Hungary highly values cooperation with Azerbaijan, and not only in the energy sector, he said, adding that a large number of Hungarian companies invest in Azerbaijan.
According to Orban, Europe is currently facing a number of challenges, such as the migration crisis, the consequences of the pandemic, the energy crisis, and tensions in the Middle East.
In this sense, the Hungarian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of cooperation between countries on various platforms.
Hungary is building fraternal relations with Azerbaijan and the countries of Central Asia, he added.
