Nurit Greenger: 'Having won the 44-day war, Azerbaijan has become a regional power'

"Having won the 44-day war, Azerbaijan has become a regional power," Nurit Greenger, the founder of the US-Azerbaijan Cultural Foundation, said at the press conference in Baku, Report informs.

"There are still problems in the region. But the most important issue was the liberation of the territories of Azerbaijan from occupation," she added.

Nurit Greenger said that the foundation she created aims to convey Azerbaijani culture to the US population: "I want to show the real Azerbaijan in the US. We want to dispel negative stereotypes and tell the truth about this country because we know the role of the Armenian lobby. I want to prove that the US needs Azerbaijan from a geopolitical point of view."
