Netherlands starts campaign against booking.com's hotel reservation in Karabakh

Baku. 23 November. REPORT.AZ/ The European Azerbaijanis (EuroAz.NL) organization in the Netherlands has launched a protest campaign against the reservation of hotels in Nagorno-Karabakh by booking.com.

The co-chair of the organization, blogger Emil Aliyev told Report.

According to him, bloggers from several countries also joined the rally: "At present, it is possible to book a hotel room in Nagorno-Karabakh via booking.com. We decided to start a campaign against it and send letters of protest mainly in English and other languages to the email addresses of the website. People from a number of countries also join this campaign".

Notably, booking.com, which carries out hotel reservation through the Internet, has suspended illegal reservation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by Armenian armed force after strong protest by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) and Ministry of Culture and Tourism. However, booking.com, registered in the Netherlands has restored its illegal activity and begun to carry out hotel reservations from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
