MFA: Not a single person from Armenia has been held accountable for war crimes

Not a single person from Armenia has been brought to justice for their war crimes, Leyla Abdullayeva, Head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA), said during her speech at the "round table" held in connection with the second anniversary of the terror attack by Armenia in Ganja on October 11, 2020.

According to her, targeting Ganja is a gross violation of international law by Armenia:

"Armenia has violated the norms of the Geneva Convention, of which it is also a member. The events of Ganja were filmed on the spot by local and international journalists. All materials were collected according to the protocol, and a petition was filed within the framework of the International Court of Justice. However, the issue is still under consideration in the courts. Azerbaijan will do everything in its power to bring the culprits to justice. Unfortunately, until today, not a single person has been held accountable for the war crimes and law violations committed by Armenia. We demand that the world community once again increase the pressure to make Armenia responsible for the war crimes before the law it has committed."
