MFA: Azerbaijan has never allowed use of its territory against third countries

Azerbaijan has never allowed its territory to be used against third countries, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizada, said in response to the claims of Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Report informs.

"On the contrary, threats have been voiced against Azerbaijan from the territory of Iran. As an example of these, it is possible to mention military exercises conducted by Iran along the borders of Azerbaijan, military operations across the border, and anti-Azerbaijani statements by Iranian officials, shooting threatening videos against Azerbaijan near the Khudafarin bridge by Iranian security structures such as the IRGC, even involving children and demonstration, the terrorist attack against the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran, the fact that the initial traces of the investigation of the terrorist act against the member of the Milli Majlis, Fazil Mustafa, point to Iran," Hajizada said.
