Lithuanian president visits Alley of Martyrs in Baku

President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku on May 18, Report informs.

A guard of honour was lined up in the Alley of Martyrs for the high-rank guest.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda visited the graves of the heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives in the struggle for independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

The Lithuanian president laid a wreath at the Eternal Torch monument.

The national anthems of Lithuania and Azerbaijan were performed by the orchestra of the Ministry of Defense.
