Klaar hopes negotiations on new cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan will be completed soon

Two EU Commissioners recently visited Azerbaijan to attend a meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council, and very fruitful discussions were held during the visit, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on February 21, Report informs.

He said President Charles Michel gave significant support to Azerbaijan-EU relations, as well as the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. He also expressed hope that negotiations on a new cooperation agreement between Azerbaijan and the EU will be completed soon.
