Khojaly genocide in Panamanian press

Panama's online magazine Panama Revista published an article on the Khojaly genocide by local journalists Federico Muiña and Héctor Barros, entitled "24 hours is enough," the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico told Report.

The article refers to the Khojaly genocide committed by the Armenian armed forces on February 26, 1992, in which 613 Azerbaijani civilians, including minors, were brutally killed, and hundreds were injured and went missing.

The brutal massacre of civilians is aimed at wiping Khojaly and its people. Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, one of the main organizers of the genocide, has confessed to Armenia's crimes in Khojaly.

The writing stresses that the Khojaly massacre was a genocide and was officially recognized by many states, including the parliaments of Colombia and Mexico, as well as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The article also quotes from the painful memories of Azerbaijanis who witnessed the tragedy, were captured, and survived.
