Jeyhun Bayramov: Reintegration process of Armenian residents has intensified as a result of anti-terror measures

“As a result of the local anti-terror measures that put an end to the provocations of the illegal Armenian armed detachments, which threatened the peace and reintegration processes in the region, and the continuation and presence of landmines, the process of reintegration of the Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region has intensified,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said at the 27th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Report informs.

In his speech, Bayramov emphasized the establishment of a working group to meet the economic, social and humanitarian needs of the local Armenian residents, the taking of relevant measures and the continuation of the dialogue between the representatives of the Government of Azerbaijan and the representatives of those residents prove once again that the allegations regarding the “ethnic cleansing” in the region are groundless. In this regard, it was pointed out that Azerbaijan is determined not to miss the historical opportunity for peace and reintegration in the region, to advance the agenda of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the process of reintegration of Armenian residents living in the Azerbaijani territories.
