Jeyhun Bayramov meets Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó as part of the 132nd session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE), Report informs, citing MFA.

The ministers discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the political and economic spheres and exchanged views on regional and international security issues.

They mentioned the existence of high-level relations and political dialogue between the two countries and stressed the potential for further development of relations in economic, trade, humanitarian, and other fields.

The sides underlined the importance of the Energy Forum to be held in Baku on June 1-3 this year, as well as the role of Azerbaijan in ensuring Europe's energy security.

They further exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
