Jeyhun Bayramov expresses Baku's concern over PACE's biased attitude at meeting with CoE Sec.-Gen.

As part of his participation in the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset, Report informs.

"On the sidelines of the UNGA79, Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, had a meeting with Alain Berset, Secretary General of the CoE. The sides discussed prospects of cooperation based on mutual interest. Minister Bayramov brought into the attention Azerbaijan’s position on multiple issues within the CoE areas of activities. Moreover, concern was expressed over the biased approaches towards our country by the Parliamentary Assembly of the CoE that also greatly damage the image and reputation of the CoE in general," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry wrote on X.
