Jeyhun Bayramov discusses current situation in region with his Iranian counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian within the framework of his participation in the Open-Ended Extraordinary Meeting of the OIC Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers to discuss the latest developments and mounting escalation in the Israel-Palestine conflict zone, Report informs, citing Azerbaijani MFA.

During the meeting, issues on the current cooperation agenda between the two countries, issues of multilateral regional cooperation, as well as the current situation in the region were discussed.

Bayramov gave detailed information about the current situation in the region during the post-conflict period, the prospects of the agenda of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the works carried out in the region after the anti-terrorist measures taken in the Karabakh region.
