Baku. 15 November. REPORT.AZ/ President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov met today with participants of the 21st meeting of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic-speaking States, which was held in Kyrgyzstan.

“We are fraternal and close nations and are pleased that by maintaining the 20-year tradition of annual meetings of heads of intelligence services, you strengthen and develop your cooperation, share experiences and discuss a wide range of national, regional and global issues,” said Jeenbekov, noting that this conference is a significant event for the entire region.
He noted that the heads of state of the region attach particular importance to the close and effective cooperation of the special services, which, above all, is aimed at ensuring the security of the fraternal peoples.
“Only by joint and concerted efforts we can achieve significant results in the fight against threats and challenges. I am confident that interstate and interdepartmental cooperation at your level will bring significant results in ensuring the security of states,” the president said, wishing success and fruitful work.
Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Idris Kadyrkulov presented information on the activities of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic-speaking States, noting that the chairmanship moved from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan.
The meeting was attended by head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Azerbaijan Orkhan Sultanov, chairman of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan Ihtiyor Abdullayev, deputy chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Nurgali Bilisbekov, director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Kazakhstan Isatai Syrtayev, chairman of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan Idris Kadyrkulov, as well as Secretary of the Council of Damir Sagynbayev, security officer of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Daniyar Sydykov, head of the foreign policy department of the Kyrgyz President’s Office.
