Jean-Michel Brun: Minsk Group is dead and no longer relevant

France has a strong Armenian diaspora, so many politicians support them to get their votes, Report informs that the founder and editor-in-chief of the French news portal Musulmans en France, Jean-Michel Brun, told reporters.

"As for the Azerbaijani-French relations, France was a co-chair of the Minsk Group, but apparently the Minsk Group has died and is no longer relevant. But at the same time, it is important to develop relations between Azerbaijan and France," Jean-Michel Brun added.

The editor-in-chief of the French news portal also noted that he is currently writing a book about Shusha.

Sharing his impressions of the meeting between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the participants in the international conference "South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation", which took place today at the ADA University in Baku, Jean-Michel Brun said.

“I was impressed by the president's speech, he spoke and answered questions 3 hours without notes, everything was said clearly and intelligibly. He talked about relations with neighboring countries, with the EU, China and others."
