Japan to build school in Yeni Khojavand settlement and Neftchala

Japan will build a school in the Yeni Khojavand settlement and Neftchala, Report informs.

Within the framework of Japan's Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Program, the projects "Renovation of Yeni Khojavand settlement school of the Khojavand district and construction of an additional school building" and "Construction of an additional school building of the Girmizikend village school of the Neftchala district" are planned to be implemented.

Within the scope of the Khojavand project, $91,297 was allocated to Azerbaijan Public Unity for Studies, Training and Resource Center for the construction of an additional school building with 6 classrooms and a sanitary junction in the Yeni Khojavand settlement school located in the Beylagan district, and for providing the existing school building with a gas heating system.

Within the framework of the Neftchala project, a grant of $90,513 was allocated to the Azerbaijan Young Scientists, Post-Graduates and Masters Union for the construction of an additional school building with 7 classrooms, a storage room and a sanitary junction of the village school of Girmizikend.

The Yeni Khojavand settlement of Khojavand district, which is the project area, is a residential area built in the territory of Beylagan district for the settlement of IDPs from Khojavand and the implementation of administrative functions of Khojavand district.
