Israeli political scientist: Armenia represents a terrorist threat

Report informs, the Israeli political scientist Yuri Bocharov said at a round table on the Azerbaijani-Israeli relations.

"Why [the Armenians] shoot, when there is no war, why do they provoke? You know, many terrorist organizations are funded by someone and they need to work out their wages. We have a very similar situation in this respect, we protect our citizens and we have a full right to it”, he added.

According to him, Azerbaijan and Israel are strategic partners, and such close cooperation can cause irritation in some third countries.

Bocharov emphasized the Azerbaijani traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism.

Talking about Israel's air strikes at the airbase in Homs, the expert stressed that "Israel in Syria is fighting not against the Assad regime, but with terrorist groups in Iran”.

"Israel is not against the integrity of Syria, we want full-fledged leadership there. For 30 years of war with Syria, there was not a single provocation on our border. By and large, we have no claims to Syria and Assad, we are against Iran. Yes, someone bombed bad guys, maybe even we. And the question is raised, what did the Iranian drones do there and how did Russia leave the airbase four hours before the bombing?", he summed up.
