Baku. 7 January. REPORT.AZ/ International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) issued a report on number of wanted citizens in countries, Report informs referring to the foreign media.
According to the statistics, among the leaders of the CIS countries are Ukraine, Belarus, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan (160 people).
Georgia is on the 5th place (135 persons), Uzbekistan is the 11th (96), Moldova is the 28th (54), Armenia is the 33rd (43), Lithuania is the 45th (22), Estonia is the 56th (10), Latvia and Turkmenistan are 59th (7).
Citizens of 43 countries wanted by Interpol are not registered. The list totally covers 8 thousand 507 wanted people.
Also were provided the statistics on the number of tracing requests sent to Interpol. Among the CIS countries Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are leaders with 160 queries. Georgia is on the 9th place (88 requests), Uzbekistan is the 31st (30), Lithuania is the 33rd (22), Moldova is the 34th (21), Armenia and Estonia are the 43rd ( 10), Latvia is the 47th (6), Turkmenistan is the 53rd (0).
Besides Turkmenistan, as well other 61 countries didn't send tracing requests to Interpol. The list totally covers 6 thousand 870 people.
Total Interpol members are 190 countries.
