Interior ministers of Azerbaijan and Moldova ink agreement on cooperation

The delegation led by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova, Adrian Efros, has arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit, Report informs citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vilayat Eyvazov, noted that relations and mutual relations between Moldova and Azerbaijan are deepening.

Touching upon the current problems, the minister of internal affairs emphasized that the fight against drug trafficking, international terrorism, human trafficking, illegal migration and cybercrime, which are the main types of transnational organized crime, is the focus of attention, and it is possible to effectively fight against them only with joint efforts.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Adrian Efros, expressed his confidence that the visit will give a new impetus to the further expansion of cooperation between the ministries of the two countries. He expressed his interest in studying the positive experience of his Azerbaijani colleagues in the field of fighting crime and ensuring public order.

During the meeting, the ministers signed the "Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova".
