Ilham Aliyev: Inefficiency of some leading international organizations causes concern

The inefficiency of some leading international organizations is a cause for concern, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Samarkand, according to Report.

"In this regard, I would like to note the four resolutions of the UN Security Council dated 1993, which demanded the withdrawal of the Armenian Armed Forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. While some resolutions of the Security Council are implemented within a few days, the resolutions adopted regarding our situation remained unfulfilled for 27 years. Azerbaijan itself settled the Karabakh conflict through military-political means and ensured the implementation of the mentioned resolutions of the Security Council," the head of state said.
