Ilham Aliyev condoles with his Iranian counterpart

President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi.
The letter reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
"We are deeply saddened by the news that many people have been killed and injured in the collapse of a ten-storey building in Abadan.
"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the victims, and the Iranian people in connection with this tragedy, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery.
"May God rest their souls!"
