ICESCO to send new mission to liberated areas in coming months

ICESCO will send a new mission to the liberated areas in the coming months, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Morocco, Permanent Representative to ICESCO, Nazim Samadov, said in an interview with Report.

According to him, ICESCO sent a mission consisting of international experts to study the state of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in the liberated lands in 2022: “A report prepared by experts on our cultural heritage located in the liberated districts is currently being studied and referred to by international courts. After the anti-terrorist measures held in September 2023, we applied to ICESCO to send a second mission to the region, and in the coming months, the second mission consisting of international experts will visit this region.”
