Georgian Foreign Minister awarded with medal "100th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Service Bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan”

Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani was awarded with the jubilee medal "100th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Service Bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1919 - 2019)".

Local bureau of Report informs that Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the due statement. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov presented the medal to the Foreign Minister.

Zalkaliani was awarded for his contribution to the strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. Then a meeting was held between the parties. The sides discussed topical issues between the two countries. Zalkaliani thanked Azerbaijan for being awarded a special medal.

Hasanov said that the friendly and strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan has existed for many years and will continue. The Ambassador wished successes to the Georgian government under the leadership of Giorgi Gakharia.
