Former Serbian president: Necessary to focus on finding solutions to prevent global conflicts

In the modern world there are many conflicts that negatively affect various aspects of life, ex-President of Serbia Boris Tadic said at a panel discussion within the XI Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

He noted that in this regard, the international community should focus on finding practical solutions to prevent conflicts in the future.

“The consequences of wars in Israel, Ukraine, Yemen are observed almost all over the world. During and after conflicts we always think about how to restore infrastructure, how to help victims of war, but we do not think about what we should do to prevent a recurrence of similar incidents in the future. Education in this matter, in my opinion, is the key point, not only the education of the younger generation, but also the education of politicians,” he added.
