Foreign Minister: Attempts of external interference in region hinder peace

A number of factors that create new challenges in advancing the peace process, including the attempts of states located far from the region to project their unilateral positions on the region, hinder the process, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Report informs.

He made the remark at the meeting with Pavel Knyazev, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Bayramov drew attention to Azerbaijan's position regarding the organization of the EU-Armenia-US joint conference to be held on April 5, 2024 in such a non-transparent and non-inclusive environment.

The minister said the concerns that such initiatives may encourage new provocations in Armenia, where the revanchist mood prevails, are clearly expressed.
