FM: Armenia should present concrete proposals, show readiness for talks

The press service of the Foreign Ministry commented on Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's remarks on Azerbaijan's proposals to normalize relations between the two countries.

The Foreign Ministry told Report that Baku's position on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is clear and consistent.

"We do not see the need to once again reiterate our position. In view of the importance of normalization of relations between the two countries after the conflict and peacebuilding in the region, Azerbaijan has put forward proposals and is ready to move in this direction. If Armenia also takes the issue seriously, it must present its proposals and thus demonstrate its readiness to start substantive and result-oriented negotiations," she said.
