Famous tower of Pakistan illuminated with colors of Azerbaijani flag

The famous tower of Pakistan - Minar-e-Pakistan has been illuminated with the colors of the flag of Azerbaijan on occasion of November 8 - Day of Victory.

Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani embassy in Pakistan, that this caused a great interest among the residents and guests of the city.

Minar-e-Pakistan was built on the site where the Lahore Resolution was passed giving the way to the movement for the creation of independent Pakistan. The tower is the monument of national significance. It is the first time in the history of Pakistan that the monument is illuminated with the colors of a flag of a foreign country.
