Ex-Prime Minister of Moldova: 'We need to develop a political program in the world'

In my opinion, we need to develop a new political program in the world, former prime minister of Moldova, Chiril Gaburici, told Report.

He noted that it is important to establish a dialogue in order to fix the fractured world: "Baku Forum is an event where different leaders from different parts of the world come with their impressions and views, and we share this information among ourselves. We try to learn from each other and share our experiences. The topics and agenda before us today, I think, help us all. Just looking at the agenda helps us understand what is happening in the world, and we see that there are many problems in the world. We need to learn to dialogue, talk to each other, compromise, be positive in what we do, and be open to each other."

The former prime minister drew attention to the problems the world is currently facing: "The same proposals apply to climate issues. Things will not change unless everyone does something. Today we have many other problems, such as climate change, air, soil, and water pollution. In addition, in some places, there are problems, such as children not being able to go to school because their families cannot afford it. This is not the problem of those people, but the problem of all of us, humanity. And if we can do the right thing for humanity and the Earth, I think it will be very good for all of us and for future generations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Health Organization's motto was 'no one is safe until everyone is safe’."
