Azerbaijan, as the chair country of the Non-Aligned Movement, shows an excellent example of leadership. The world is grateful to the country for its contribution to the fight against the pandemic, former President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev told Report.
He noted that Azerbaijan sets very ambitious goals in the health sector: “We have heard about the state’s plans for activities in this area. Azerbaijan plays a special role because it is the chair country of the Non-Aligned Movement, which unites 120 countries.”
Plevneliev also expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for hosting the 10th Global Baku Forum, which, as he noted, is a very important event for the entire region.
“Here you can see how prominent political figures from different countries exchange views and come to common conclusions.
But the most beautiful thing about the forum is its spirit of tolerance and mutual understanding. The one that the great Nizami Ganjavi taught everyone,” the former president of Bulgaria said.
