EU ambassador hails Azerbaijan's vaccination efforts as successful

The Azerbaijani government has been very successful in its COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Michalko said at a press conference, Report informs.

In this case, Azerbaijan has the best result in the region, Michalko said.

The ambassador noted that the EU also supported Azerbaijan during the pandemic.

“We have provided equipment to fight the coronavirus and have trained more than 7,000 doctors. Two million vaccines have been provided to Azerbaijan within the framework of the COVAX platform,” he added.
