Embassy: Iran has no relation with Nardaran incidents

Baku. 1 December.REPORT.AZ/ Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan made a statement.

Report informs, the statement says that some media and MPs directly or indirectly accuse Islamic Republic of Iran in Naradaran incidents.

'Foreign policy of Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) is always based on principles of good-neighborliness, constructive cooperation and not interfering internal affairs towards all countries, especially to neighbors and particularly to Azerbaijan Republic and carried out in practice. Of course, oncoming of Islamic Republic of Iran and Azerbaijan Republic in the region and development of bilateral cooperation, especially closeness of people of two countries is a serious threat for those who do not want holding respect and these forces use current events in order to form precipice in the relations of the countries in different periods. Obviously, purpose of last offences is to provide smear campaign against Iran and damage relations between two countries', statement declares.

Islamic Republic of Iran never sought to interfere internal affairs of Azerbaijan Republic and has no role in Nardaran incidents, statement declares.

Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan emphasized importance of strengthening friendly and brotherly relations between two countries and people.
