Elmar Mammadyarov meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain

On the sidelines of the 74th session of the UNGA session, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Report informs citing the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The Ministers discussed the existing bilateral cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Bahrain in various spheres and underlined the importance of further deepening ties between the countries.

The sides had an exchange on the upcoming Baku Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held on 25-26 October and the chairmanship of Azerbaijan in the Movement during the coming 3 years.

The Ministers also discussed the regional and global security issues, as well as the other issues on the agenda of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
