Kazakhstan is interested in the unblocking of transport links in the South Caucasus, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Vasilenko told Report in Astana, commenting on the Zangazur corridor.
“As for the Zangazur corridor, I will answer briefly. Kazakhstan welcomes the practical implementation of the trilateral agreements between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, which were concluded in November 2020, as well as in January and November 2021, and which provide for the unblocking of transport communications,” he said.
The deputy minister noted that this process is not easy, and talks continue.
“In general, we are interested in the unblocking of transport links in the South Caucasus and the establishment of a lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and we sincerely wish this,” Vasilenko added.
