Deputy Assistant Secretary of State: US supports Azerbaijan’s trans-regional energy projects

"The US supports trans-regional energy connectivity projects initiated by Azerbaijan, including strategic Southern Gas Corridor," Deputy Assistant Secretary in the European and Eurasian Bureau at the U.S. Department of State George Kent said at the Caspian Business Forum in New York.

“Regional connectivity is important for sustainable development of the Caspian region," Kent added.

The Caspian Political Center invited senior officials and leaders of the private sector and members of the governments of the countries of the Caspian region to discuss business opportunities, investments, financing and the challenges facing partners.
