"Cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia is not limited to strategic importance but rose to the level of the union," the Local Bureau of Report informs citing Azerbaijani Foreign MinisterElmar Mammadyarov.

Report quotes the Minister as saying that Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia have similar views on political and economic spheres.

Mammadyarov said that along with the joint declaration signed today in Tbilisi, the parties approved the action plan for 2020-2022. "At the suggestion of Azerbaijan, the document also envisages provisions on food security, which will be a new element for trilateral cooperation."

The Minister said that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project is of global geostrategic importance, not only for the region.
