The humiliating attitude towards the statue of Khurshidbanu Natavan in France is barbaric, the secretary of the Union of Azerbaijan Writers (AWU), People's Writer Chingiz Abdullayev, said at a briefing, Report informs.

According to him, this event is a great blow to Azerbaijan-France relations: "We appreciate the culture of French society, but their attitude is obvious. I do not believe that such things should be done against France in Azerbaijan. But unfortunately, this is the policy of France."
