Chinese delegation arrives in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan

The official delegation of Chongqing city of the People’s Republic of China has arrived in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Nakhchivan bureau of Report informs.

First, the guests visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev, erected on the main square of the city, and laid flowers at it.

Then, at the Heydar Aliyev Museum, the guests got acquainted with the exhibits reflecting the life and state activities of the great leader.

During the visit, the guests will meet with Fuad Najafli, Azerbaijan’s plenipotentiary presidential representative in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, to discuss issues of developing economic and cultural ties.

The guests will also get acquainted with the production, services and tourism resources of Nakhchivan.

In 2021, a “Memorandum on the establishment of relations of friendship and cooperation between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the city of Chongqing” was signed.
